- As of June 2023, the previous exemptions for women, children, and the elderly have been rescinded. All Sudanese nationals must obtain a visa before arrival.

- Sudanese men aged 16 to 50 are generally required to obtain a security clearance (Muwafaka Amnya) in addition to the visa.
