  • Since January 1, 2025, Mauritania has implemented a mandatory e-visa system for most nationalities including South Sudan.
  • The application is initiated online via the ANRPTS portal (anrpts.gov.mr).
  • The final visa fee is often paid in cash (USD or EUR) upon arrival at the dedicated e-visa counter at Nouakchott International Airport.
